Victor Lee Fine Enamel Art |
Enamel is an old art form that fuses glass powder onto metal. Victor Lee has specialized in the rare enamel painting techniques of Limoges and Grisaille, which originated in Renaissance, France.
His works are truly original and unique creations of wearable art and his enamel masterpieces have received many awards and are exhibited and collected internationally.
His themes are of nature including landscapes, seascapes, skyscapes and animals of many kinds. His love of animals and his wit come to together on the two surfaces of each piece he creates. You may find in any one of his many individual pieces a statement of eternal LIFE~ in the beautiful face of a staring rabbit with the reverse side showing DEATH as a fox, ever watchful below a starry sky. He also pairs fish with cats, seals with polar bears, and on and on. Each piece is truly a small work of art.
Victor has created an affordable line of jewelry using antique coins from around the world. Because Victor's pieces are created on picturesque coins, such as pennies, nickels and quarters, each piece has a "front" view and a "back" view that is truly unique.
